Hello
I'm going to be somewhere when the snow is deep and I intend to make some Ski's like the ones Ray Mears makes in Sweden from a dead standing pine tree, I'll be using a axe, saw, and crooked draw knife, only problem is making the jig and steaming the wood in the bush to get the fronts to curve up (so I'm not sliding around on planks) out of the snow any ideas ?
Carve the curve into the wood or improvise a steamer with a billy can ?
