Dorian is good. The second book is not quite as good, but quite ok.

"The Long Walk" by Sławomir Rawicz -- if you don't mind the fact that it is almost certainly a lie

Never proven to be a lie

No, not as such. But I am suspicious of the way the trip is described, and there has been claims that there are documents that claim that Rawicz was released as part of a general pardon.

Never proven to be a lie, but then never proven to be true either. However what is interesting is that the tale may be true but based on someone elses story, rather than the one told by Sławomir Rawicz.
