A walk in the Alps

For the last four years me and the missus have been working hard and saving cash so we could make a permanent move for our family to the Alps. Four weeks ago we finally arrived. Up until this week end we have been running from place to place trying to get our lives here organised new car,health insurance,tax number, the list go on and on.

well this weekend the mother in-law turned up and kindly offered to look after our daughter so we could get and and enjoy what we have been working toward.
So I thought I would share some pics of our first 3 nights and days out an about in the Alps.

I am not much of a of a photographer and I normally forget that I have a camera with me so it is just a few pics

Ah in that case I have no help to offer, I use photobucket, could never get the comp upload to work for me, sorry matey.

As long as you follow a few rules then sleeping out in the wild should be within the law. ie pitch tent above tree line or if you want to sleep in a forest then use a bivi bag and not a tent. as camping in the forest is illegal but sleeping in the forest is not as long as you are not staying in the same spot more than one night.

Good move, salad, we made that move 7 years ago to the French Alps, we just packed up our camper van and left the UK, we have been here ever since. Good luck with your new life, Fussen looks beautiful!

Thanks, we are living just outside of fussen on the weissensee lake. I just need to improve my German Now

Oooh yes, sounds good to me mate.
It's not too far from Zugspitze either is it? I'd like to make another attempt at swimming across the Eibsee without getting cramp!
