A Strange Sight I Saw Last Week

After heavy rain, I went for a bimble last week and found this young worm trapped in a water pool on a leaf. Whenever the sun came out it started moving - either because it was enjoying the warmth, or because it was getting cooked by the water focusing light on it!

Either way, my 16 month daughter soon got bored of me taking photos and liberated it back to a nice piece of soft earth.

Thanks guys. It was a Nikon D70s and a sigma 70-300mm macro zoom (hand-held with nagging toddler!)

Nice, I’ve got my heart set on a D80 (time to say night night to the Hasselblad kit). Obviously the lovely light added a lot, but hand held, that’s impressive.

I definitely have the toddler to thanks for the lovely light, she is rarely sleeping past 5.30 so I'm having a good few early morning bimbles!

It's a shame when something as lovely as a Hasselblad has to go, but you just can't argue with digital convenience when it comes to photos.

It won't go, I could bear to part with it but, to be honest, they just aren't worth selling anymore. It will live in a cupboard and in my memory!

The market is just weired!
