I personally think breakfast should take as long as it takes... 1 rasher at a time... not a problem as long as they're good

But we don't have it here...

On the other hand.. some wet juniper boughs and proper ash spread.. and the it could be layed right on top of the green...

maybe too slow to cook though.. would get that extra smokey favor though.

all in all.. going to whip out more sticks next time

Or rub it with charcoal for the flamegrilled crunchy texture rather than crispy.
