So for my housemate and I's next walk we plan to follow a circular route to the summit of Corn Du and back.
Haven't personally been up any of the Beacons and was wondering if anyone had an insights. I'm aware that the wind can really get up in the area and I'm a little weary of that, especially with it taking place in the middle of november, and having heard a few stories of people being blown off the ridge.
If anybody is interested the route planned by myself is:
Start - Parking @ SN982204
CP 1 - Obelisk @ SO001217
CP2 - Summit @ SO008214
CP3 - Parking @ SN988198
End - Parking @ SN982204
It should be about 7km (ish) with a vertical climb of 422m.
Also if the weather is fine may put in the extra few meters to the top of Pen-y-fan whilst were there.
