Had a lovely wander in the woods today with a good friend. It was a bit of a photography field trip, a chance to walk slowly and concentrate on taking photos. As a bit of a challenge to myself, I stuck my 40mm prime lens on my camera.
It was a beautiful late spring (or is it early summer?) afternoon, and as we walked we explored the various flora of the woods. At one point we found a coup that had been coppiced last year, and it was a field of foxgloves. Absolutely beautiful.
On the way back I stood on what I thought was dry ground, and went in to mid calf. Made a right mess of my left shoe...
