A good night

A good night last night up on a mountain. The first night out of my 4 or 5 trips where I woke up this morning and thought dam that was good. I really enjoyed it. It was down to comfort and the 13 quid blow up mat off eBay. Really surprised me and was still up this morning which amazed me to be honest. Not only that the Basha did superb. Forecast was cloudy but dry. Boy were they wrong. I was woken early hours and it was hammering down and blowing a gale. The Basha was flapping like mad but held firm and I was dry as a bone. I rolled over in the bivy which gave me great view of the sky and beat a tent hands down. I might sort ear plugs or maybe get tarp tighter some how. But I was so comfy didn’t bother me to much

I know one thing I was dam glad I took my Helly Hansen Dutch Cold Weather Field Jacket lol
Oh and my softie jacket. Was bloody cold up there but I was snug as bug. Apart from when I had to get out for widdle in the rain and peed on my hat cause it fell off at my feet and I didn’t notice
