i had a commission for a "hiviz necker"

so set about with the scissors and two vests i ,..erm...found,..

its 3mm 01,..with a 10 degree scandi,...

i strayed away from the usual two pins and stuck a little one in each corner and left them unfilled,...

the exposed pommel/lanyard hole was specified too,...

lol oh yeah i forgot you walked into what must have looked like an armoury the other day,...

i still got about 6 left to finish,....but the handles are the most satisfying but for me, so its cool.

yes and i have a pic of it in use too,....

we (me and Joel) did garden hotdogs and hot choccy last weekend,....

its very decieving,...it boiled a crusader on an inch of meths,...!!!

you chopped owt with the MOD knife yet?,...

ok,..i put this up mainly for an idea of scale,...

but it also displays the edge i got just off the belt with 400 grit,..

and my stupidity at polishing a wickedly sharp blade without paying attention,..

That's good to hear mate, I'm just working on a slightly bigger version at the moment. Not sure it's needed though as the small one seems really efficient.

Not had a play with Excalibur yet, I need to put a decent edge on it first.
