A bushtool i just finished

I had done some blades the end of last year but the bad weather has kept me out of the shed until now.I made this bushtool style from 3mm O1 and red micarta with black liners ,i spent some time sharpening and stropping it today and it is shaving sharp :eek:i,ve really enjoyed doing this next ones will be better you learn from your mistakes i suppose .

That looks great mate, well done.

I like the over-all shape of the knife, just sorta looks right and flows if you know what I mean :)

Thanks for the comments people,like most of the things you learn off the forum its addictive ,so i done some more today.:D

I have never used a bushtool shape - but I confess I do find them attractive.

Looks a cracker Gill, gie sleek, a no nonsense skinner bushtool with a profound purposeful cutting edge. Sounds a bit like a conservative manifesto eh.
