Go get a german folding shovel and a Granfors Bruk or Wetterling hatchet (try Jack at www.woodlandorganics.com), but please don't waste your time or money on that.
But that's why i wanted it because it's so gimmicky i probably will never use it but it would be just something to play with when the giant bushes of my garden need destroyed
If you can get by with fewer functions, have you looked at the Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel? it is modelled after the Spetsnatz trenching tool, it is good enough steel that it can be given a really sharp edge, not as sharp as a GB axe, but not bad. It can also be thrown, and will stick. Just for fun of course!!!
i've wanted one of those "survival" tools eversince i saw one at the royal armouries i leeds. not good for anything, certainly. but some toys just have to be seen!
the cold steel shovel is a great piece of kit. specially when you're trying to take out trees, root balls and all. when sharpened up properly they can do some serious woodwork. i would say that you can have a chopper/thrower, or a digger. the sharp edges don't last long when you're digging.
