67" Pacific Yew Flatbow 80lbs@ 28" Draw

Hello Everyone,

Nice site you got here on the other side of the pond. Here is a link to a slideshow of my 67" Pacific Yew Flat Bow I just finished. http://www.paleotube.com/gallery.php?action=view_dalbum&id=8 She's pulling 80lbs @ 28" The big knot in the center has been there the hole time and always looked like this. That's why I kept the handle non working. I nock the arrow dead center on this bow and love how it shoots. These were taken after 100 shots or so.

Best Regards,
Mario

Thanks for the Welcome,

I was shooting a 55lb bow for the last year and decided to make the step up. When I finished this bow and started drawing her it felt like when I first started shooting during that first week or so but now can draw it with ease. you know just barley make it full draw and wonder if your fingers will always hurt like this... it went away after a couple days and now I feel stronger in the back and shoulders.

Thanks again for the kind welcome,
Mario
