58 Pattern Bags

I'm looking for a long 58 pattern sleeping bag for my 6' 15 year old son - anybody have any advice re the best supplier at the moment ?

I got mine off e-bay - washed it in the bath with nikwax, dried it best I could in the sun then tumble dried it for an eternity. There are some "new" ones on ebay - but if I were you I'd consider a synthetic arctic bag now too - prices have come down thanks to the carinthia 4 being the latest.

I've got the synthetic arctic bag myself but he really wants the '58 pattern. Thats the problem when they are bought up with the kit all over the place - they know what they want ;-)

I've got a long 58 pattern (and a normal one I think) under the stairs somewhere. If you are interested I can dig it out and check its condition.

Please do - if both are good I might be tempted for yet another for myself - but the lad is the priority.
