Why on earth would you want one? pardon me for being opinionated, but I used to be able to source webbing and buckles from my local army surplus store that were strong enough to pull a two ton car out of a ditch (and I know that because I did precisely that)

Buy one that is too long and cut it down to size. What I would like to know however is where you can get a decent leather belt these days, with a buckle that will set off all the airport alarms in Christendom. I am not sure anything decent has been manufactured since WWI.
