lets here it for these guys, one of them is a member here. He's just helped me sort stuff out at the farm - under 3 ft of the evil white stuff. Now he's off to ship dialysis patients to hospital.

Would join the southern boys, but the Disco isn't healthy enough. Full marks to all the guys and girls braving it out there. Us southern softies are falling apart with two inches of white stuff, and we've got tarmac everywhere. I'm actually using the back roads to get to work so to avoid all the idiots who can't drive normally, let alone on snow. Great scenery too.

Had to take two registrars to a wedding venue at Hassop Hall, a bit early to pinch any snap though Had to dig out the landy twice in two feet of un-drifted snow with them both having a giggle at me. If it carrys on like this they'll be no getting up the un-cleared sections.

Anybody in Wales should look at www.4x4responsewales.org it's a separate charity with 160 members throughout Wales and affiliated to the National Network. From now to the end of Feb is our busiest time and all volunteers (4x4 owners or otherwise) are welcome.

I joined the Lothian4x4response group a couple of weeks ago...however i've been in bed illl the past few days so not had a chance to get out there and help in all this snow...really gutted especially after getting the new AT tyres fitted on Tuesday. Hopefully I'll help out on Sunday, the drugs im downing seem to be working fine lol.

My recollection of most motorway journeys is the outside lane being hogged by BMW 3 series drivers, not 4x4's...

Agreed, the regional response teams do a cracking job.
