4th Knife Complete, Thoughts?

This is my fourth knife that I made for my cousin as a Christmas present.

The specs are:

3" 1084 blade

3.8" acacia handle

Black kydex sheath

Hehe oops. I guess that was phrased a bit funny. It's my fourth knife I've ever made, and this one's for my cousin.

Not keen on Kydex, but that is a very nice knife. Top job.

I like the knife its nice and simple, must say I don't like the Kydex looks out of place to me.. would of really looked nice in leather

Yeah, someday I'd like to learn how to do leather, but kydex is easy with the limited tools I have. My dousing also likes the more "tactical" stuff anyway.

Certainly looks like you hit all of the key factors. Good polish on the blade, proportions are spot on, nice combination of materials, overall finish is looks professional...

The only detractor I see is that the ol' girl cries out for a leather sheath. All that work with materials what will patinate wonderfully, only to be encased in some fugly plastic. Ugh!

That is really nice.
Like the simplicity of it very much. Very purposeful looking blade and handle shape.
