My quest for a decent pair of budget over trousers has hopefully come to an end today.
I was looking for goretex preferably and not DPM, something that would take a hammering in the canoe and last me a good while. I'd ummed and arred about something like Norrona Finnskogen (lush) or some Harkilla like top end hunting trews.
Anyhow I've come across these today and taken the plunge ....

3-ply branded goretex and perfect measurements for me so hopefully they'll be up for the job.
I'll do a mini review once they've had a good hammering.
