Hi all,
today 3 of my knives comparison. They are IMO all in the category bushcrafter: all-purpose tools, not swords, straight oriented to the job.
From the top: J. Breeden Pathfinder, Scrap Yard MUK, N. Panciera Coguaro
Specs:
J. Breeden Pathfinder
Length OAL 240 mm
Blade length 115 mm
Blade thickness 3 mm
Blade Steel O1
SY MUK
Length OAL 235 mm
Blade length 110 mm
Blade thickness 4 mm
Blade Steel 154CM
N. Panciera Coguaro
Length OAL 230 mm
Blade length 100 mm
Blade thickness 5 mm
Blade Steel C70
Lets start with some fuzz-sticking
Some carving
Some pointing
Handling
Conclusions:
All these 3 knives are fine tools for bushcraft activities. Comfy on the hand, they are all my cup of tea on the bush. I prefere the MUK above the two others, but just for a bit, cause he bite the woods a bit more than the others, but its just my feeling.
Ciao, Alfredo
