trying to think of ways i could get this to work in my workshop off a 16amp 30m extension cable? the only way i can get power down there at the moment. iv been running my aly minigrinder that way for a couple years without issues... then of course how id afford it?

It will run off an extension lead, as long as you haven;t got a RCD on your fuse, I may be interested in taking your mini grinder in PX, what condition is it in?
I will run it off an extension lead to make sure it will, I do have RCD,s on the main fuses in the house, but not on the fuse box in the garage.
