Here we have for sale a rather lovely blacksmiths made right-handed side axe. This is a really nice axe to use and has been my go to axe for carving for quite awhile now. Am only selling as I recently acquired another axe which will take on this role.
The axe has tons of character and looks to be on the original (if somewhat battered) handle. It is still strong with no looseness whatsoever and I have never had any problems with it.
Comes very sharp and has fantastic edge retention.
Specifications:
Weight: 2lbs (approx.)
Handle length (excluding head): 29.5cm
Cutting edge: 11.4cm
