Right, as you can see from my post count I am now officially classed as gobby, though not as gobby as some here, though they have had a headsart on me I suppose.
So here's the dealie: When a landmark number is reached it's become a sort of tradition for the gobby one to create a competition and offer up a prize to the winner of it.
These past few days I've wracked my fuddled brain for some original way of a comp and to be honest I can't think of anything to make it fair for one and all.
So what I'm going to do is this - Since this is my 2000th post I've written a number down between 1 & 2000. You have to try and guess what it is. Post your replies below and for goodness sake try to put them in sequence by pasting the previous poster's answers and include your own in the correct slot. Thanks for your consideration.
Now for the all important prize. I have a brand new one of these. I sharpened it up using my stropping pad and cutting paste and it's a sweet as a sugery sweet thing can be. Guess the right number or the closest to it and this little baby is yours. (It's a right-handed flavoured one)
For those who don't know it's a spoon knife, much better than the Frost one in my opinion for carving that bowl.
