    FAW for 7 years through work. Also work alongside a couple of EMTs at sporting events some weekends for a bit of extra cash and experience. Thinking about doing some higher level training.

    If you decide to take it up then I can thoroughly recommend a small axe and a mallet. Lots of anti-axe stuff on here, no need for one etc etc. This is a knife forum, most people don't REALLY need to go outdoors and practise using knives, but they do and they enjoy it, same for axes I say...

    What do you use for spitting logs because I find a small axe with a mallet or batton extremely effective? Of course this my well be me just making up for my incredibly tiny penis. :cool:
