Does anyone have any advice on how best to tap birch trees, preferably with the least risk of harming the tree? I've seen some conflicting methods with people claiming the other is more likely to damage trees.
For 250 quid you could get a custom knife from Dulo. I have two and a third on order - cryo heat treated magnacut, convex grind, micarta handle and a really good custom sheath. Great value for £250 but you would have to wait a while for it to be made unless you buy one off someone.
