Fascinating project... Thanks for the link to the Snow Walkers ... It was long but well worth it and I've found something new for my bucket list! Tagging along for the ride on this thread to see how it all turns out :)
Personally I'd steer clear of the fiskars just due to the quality of the steel... They're a smashing tool for the money but lifetime they're most certainly not! Find an old one from ebay and spend some time putting a decent edge on it then keep it covered... Don't buy the biggest one there is...
The mac department of Microsoft? I knew they were in bed together all these years! I'm sitting smug using linux ... that'll keep them outsmartalised...
The best one is clicking the 'unsubscribe' button in junk email. Be aware that if this isn't a legitimate company you have just let the...
Absolutely smashing ... I'd love to see a video of the process... :)
Danish oil ... British made stuff can be be found on amazon (bestwood I think) ... it'd bring them out lovely, last longer and work quicker than plain tung
I'm so glad that breakfast is far behind me and lunch not for a good while!
As regards midge burger .. I'd not be adverse... seems poetic justice and I think with a big of bacon fat I could be tempted :D Not sure what you'd use to pick the wings out of your teeth mind...
I'm scratching my head at the washing line spoon collection (impressive mind) but if plusnet are that scared of loosing a customer or two they should probably actually work on providing a better quality broadband... :P
I'll second that vote ... bloke seems like he's up for a good laugh and bugger me if he can make cash whilst doing it why not!
As regards the tat... At least it'll be hard to loose if you put it down in the undergrowth and most of us will need an improvised hammer at some point or another.
It's smashing as long as you're not trying to camp with an unprepared family ... they didn't see the cold night coming and I ended up with the dog whilst the kids ended up cuddled with mom... A price you pay for clean fresh air and a warm fire with good friends I guess :)
