Thought I'd share this. Easiest way I have seen to add a long zip with only sewing a few buttons.
I commented thought that maybe the button holes need to be sewn top and bottom to stop them splitting further (so that does require some sewing).
Yep, seen these kind of things before but in my eyes, the Zyliss you are reliant on that filter for that mug and vice versa and for the Zyliss and the 2nd link these filters can be glued in place (which will come apart) and sometime the filter is a plastic mesh which is not as sturdy as the...
Hello all,
Just thought I'd share a little bit of kit I put together. I've been thinking about drinking coffee when out and about and am sure most of us like a nice espresso/fresh coffee over the freeze dried stuff first thing in the morning.
I have seen some portable coffee makers/presses or...
There is a chap on ebay who makes them. If asked he can even make lid for mess tins etc.

Sorry all for not replying sooner, I did not see any notifications. Thanks for all the responses and also glad I started a good conversation. The I believed were Stainless Steel so now that is a doubt in my mind. I've not tried to boil up water inside to loosed the paint (never thought of...
Hi all,
I need a little advice here please.

Sounds like you have a plan :) Am sure you've seen vids on the mods that others do like various loops, zips and flaps etc.
Looking forward to you posting some pics.
Hi all,

I've been looking for a while and not finding a 45 degree and 90 degree elbow joint. I think mainly as the diameter of the pipe is not totally standard?
Does anyone know of...
Hallo all,
My query here is not just for the Frontier but I guess to any enclosed wood burning stove like the ammo box stove and the outbacker for example (not a wood gas burner)
I remember reading that it was recommended to protect the base of the stove using sand as a layer beneath the...
Well I feel rather foolish! I actually resolved this a few months ago by buying these. I left them in my office an forgot all about them until they were rediscovered today...
Thanks for the tips guys, my sewing skill leave much to be desired. :blackeye:
I do have a torch as well but as the candles can last 4 hours each and I like to have both with me. One a backup for the other. I have seen mentioned as well that the uco can give off some good heat well in a...
Hello all,
I've got 3 of these (why do I always buys in 3s!) and I'm looking for a cocoon.
The price I am seeing on the interweb of £10-ish just seems too much.
Anyone know of a cheaper supplier or an alternative product? I have looked (and bought some) camera lense pouches from ebay for a...
