    Time

Teabags?! No self respecting teadrinker use teabags. Loose tea brewed in a pot is the only option. About summer/wintertime: I don´t like it. Keep the wintertime (normaltime) and forget about the changing twice a year.

    Ration packs

I have tried my share of US MRE and british 24h ration packs. Never again, ok if I get some for free but would never (again) pay for any. Civilian freeze dry meals are so much better and a small gas stove to boil water isn´t much of a hassle to bring along.

    My belt kit.

Both water pouches (with white GID-patches) hangs in front, on my stomach, 1 litre in both. And the ½ litre poch hangs off the shoulder strap on the left. So 1kg on one side and 1.5kg on the other side. And the other pouches also take part in making it as balanced as possible. So yes I have had...

    My belt kit.

Telling me you never been in the army without telling me you never been in the army. Like I said earlier, this is purely for my need to let the perspiration from my back evapourate freely + it lowers the point of gravity. Don´t expect anybody else to embrace it.

William Rodgers "I cut my way" Knife - any good?

To me, a knife with polished blade like that, looks nickle plated and cheap. Makes me think it´s made of kitchen sink metal.
