i've read that you can use plastic for spacers. i would start on a scrap piece and make the plastic a bit bigger then the wood. when you glue things together the glue will act like a lube and things will slide around some.

do you think that a good wood fin. would be to mix slow epoxy and rubbing alcohol in a 50/50 mix?the alcohol will thin the epoxy. making it easier to get into the wood and will evaporate later on. the thinned slow epoxy will heat up letting it's self into the wood more easy. and would harden the...

I've head alcaselzer or some thing that gives of gas will kill them.because they can't get ride of the gas.you just throw a piece of it to them. and when they swallow it will give the gas. :D i have never tried this!!!
