    Uncle Ray Helped find Moat??

I read on Sky that it was Rays choice to speak out now as he felt that there was enough water under the bridge. This might be my inner cynic speaking out but the timing does seen convenient with Rays new book being released in a few weeks. (Also mentioned in the Sky report). Just playing...

    GPS & Wrong Maps.

Good book kittedpict, well worth a read. I share Cairngorm Johns views on why civilian MR should remain voluntary, despite the obvious problems with recruiting and retention (I myself have added to the retention problem due to work commitments). I'm relation to the OP: map and compass skills...

    Recommend me a courier please

I've never commissioned a courier for collection. But the most reliable and best service I have received has been from DPD. They email and text you with a 2 hour slot when they expect your parcel to arrive.

A small but important favour to ask.

Hi Eric, I'm afraid I have never met your grandson and would therefore obviously not be able to write a reference for him. Sorry. I'm posting because I have a bit of history with the uniformed services and might be able to offer some reassurance - I was in the army for four years and have been...

    Burns

I happen across quite a few burns in line of work. The treatment we apply is a dressing called waterjel, it's mostly water thickened with a tiny amount of tea tree oil either in a small gel sachet or dressings ranging from 4" square up to a full body sized sheet. When I've been unlucky myself...

    Tool knife Identification.

It looks a bit like a large version of a knife used by glaziers to chop old putty from around window frames.

Hi MT, I've always used this username dating from when I had teenage aspirations of becoming a pebble monkey. I ended up joining the drop shorts in the end, though I did have a short spell as an oggy rock when I left the regs. I've always had a healthy dislike of guins though ;-)

    Newbie

Hi All, I thought it would be polite to introduce myself as a new registrant. I've been reading posts for a week or so now, some great content so far! My interest in bushcraft began before I knew what bushcraft was, playing in the woods as a kid, making dens and traps etc. This followed into...
