Those boys are spoilt Ivan. I mean this in the most un-detrimental way possible.
Good times outdoors versus materialistic plastic toys and playstation is no competition.
I take my hat off to you Sir.
A few months back I mentioned to a couple of friends that it would be a nice idea to go wild camp on Dartmoor. One of them was due to get married and as I couldn't make his stag do I thought this a good alternative.
Gentle bonding around a camp fire, swinging from trees in hammocks and long...
Hi Ivan,
As much as I would love to make this one I am going to be otherwise engaged that weekend.
Remember that I along with two pals am coming down on the weekend of the 14th 15th and 16th of June though for some shenanigans.
Cheers,
Dirty Ben
Also, if you want accuracy - don't buy an auto. Your budget will not get you anything remotely accurate. Even a Rolex has a tolerance of 9 seconds a day + or - 4 or 5 and is tested in a variety of positions to account for positional error.
Very few tags are chronometer rated and tend to fall...
There is no lifetime warranty on a Tag Watch. Having spent ten years working for a high street jeweller selling and servicing Rolex, Omega, Tag, Brietling and everything else I can tell you this with certainty. Tag have a 2 year warranty and a trained monkey could fit you a battery.

I think that we may possibly perhaps be coming if thats ok? There are 2 adults - 2 children and a dog.
We just need to settle a few things here first and we would probably come on the friday and stay till sunday.
Will know more in a few days :)

If anyone needs a lift from Bristol departing Thursday at 4pm and returning Sunday at midday then please pm me.
I can only take one as I have but 2 seats.
Oh, you also must be able to appreciate the finer aromas of soots.
Some good stuff in this thread. I get to see a lot of woodpiles, and I have a lot of woodpile envy.
I can never understand why people pay £5 to £7 for a bag of logs off a garage forecourt though. I think a lot of it is to do with wood becoming fashionable as not only a way to warm a room, but...
Poundland do 4 guys with slides for ........nnnnnnn............gggggggggg...........ggggggg...................mmmmmmmmmm.............fffffff........
Anyway, not the best but they work! and they are only rrrrrrrrrrrr............hhhhhhhh............dddddddddd.............
I bought a Bergen from a car boot sale just before Christmas for a fiver. Got it home and found a large bag of white powder inside the top pocket.
I'd seen Miami Vice so I wet my pinky, dipped it in and tentatively touched my tongue to it.
i was then overcome with the urge to go bouldering. :)
Lovely post.
I've been out with the dog for a woods amble today. You've inspired me to take the camera tomorrow.
Thank you
Ben The Sweep
