    Flecktarn Jacket - "Poacher Pocket"?

Some people can be very particular about camo. Overly so IMO. I have seen people reject something because it doesn't 'match' the other camo stuff they have. Even on the inside of a coat, some people might not be happy.

    Flecktarn Jacket - "Poacher Pocket"?

I don't understand this at all? Of course it's on the inside, that's what a poachers pocket is. but why does the source material dictate where a pocket is located on a garment?

Scam Warning: Account Hacking and PayPal Friends and Family

That's not the same thing What you describe is a normal way of calculating a sale price. It doesn't change the fact Payapl charge a fee for the G&S part of the service they provide. Separately From a BCUK mod point of view - and only on this forum, we have more reports of sellers failing to...

Scam Warning: Account Hacking and PayPal Friends and Family

Indeed Pat. The issue here is, do we really know who is at the other end of the PM? A bank transfer is risky because there's no recourse if you don't get your products you paid for. Not a problem if you know the person. Paypal has 2 options - friends and family (F&F) which has low/no fees and no...

    Really good budget clothing

My first coat when i started as a Gamekeeper aged 16 was a market stall wax jacket. Worn all day, everyday it lasted a few years with multiple patches and reproofing. Eventually died when i couldn't patch the patches anymore!

    Growing edible cover for Pheasants

I'm not sure your objectives are compatible I'm afraid Cover and food for pheasants will mean the crop needs to be around from planting (say March/April for sake of argument) to the end of the following season - February. Harvest for humans should happen in the autumn - before the pheasants need...

When to straighten a stick to make into a walking stick?

thanks chaps So, one waits until it's dry and the other deals with it ASAP! I guess it's personal preference then. I've had sticks bend when lent against a wall as well. I've also used a piece of angle iron to brace a stick into to dry straight. I've tried the little and often approach as it...

When to straighten a stick to make into a walking stick?

I've made walking sticks from cut sun shoots for many years, mostly hazel but also a few other varieties. I've never really known when is the best time to bend the stick to straight? right after it's been cut or wait until it's dry? Does it depend on the method used perhaps - would steam...

    Lightweight baking

We have one and used it alot on our travels in the campervan. Great bits of kit. I would recommend the silicon inserts - makes washing up far easier. In my experiments, they can be used over an open fire but 1 to get enough heat into them you need flame underneath rather than coals and 2...

    Coppicing

Hawthorn and blackthorn are traditionally hedge plants because they like to grow in a cris cross way. Giving them space will help but, as Pattree says, it depends on your definition of 'tidy'. It's unlikely to be a 'tidy' hazel stool with nice vertical sun shoots. If you want to plant other...
