Sounds about the same as mine. Quite disapointing, the Trangia is significantly faster. I tried my tatonka a few times in the hope that it would get better, it didn`t improve after 4-5 boils, so I`ve given up on it. Trangia for me. Got a triangle now= great.

An interesting discussion. Like him or not, Bear is getting scouting talked about, so I guess he`s doing a good job as Chief Scout. For those of no religion, but want to pass on knowledge to the youngsters, join as a `skills instructor`.

A few questions re the soulpad. Does the door have a mesh inner door? Does anyone have experience of the `inner tent`, do they leave much living room?Is the footprint of the inner tent practical for a double airbed? Thinking of the 5m tent. Thanks in anticipation.
