I don't know if it's all branches, but my local t.k.maxx (Brighton) have just stocked a good number of Barbour jackets at about 40% of retail price. Might be worth a look if you're in the market for one. :)

I'm looking to make my first knife, and notice that many makers use 'stabilised' timber for the handles - especially burr. How do you stabilise it? I have a lump of burr (not sure what sort) which was bought for turning, but never used. Cheers
Does anybody know where I can source a (reasonably priced) double bit axe, similar in size to the SFA (or slightly smaller). I have a 'hunter' and have just ordered a 'mini'; and am looking for a 'big-brother' for them ... and love the double bit shape. Cheers. :)
