Now you mention it I've not seen many butterflies. Although a few weeks ago there were many, many very small completely black ladybirds in my garden. Had quite a few climb on me while hanging in the hammock.

I have an olney cotton hat I found in a second hand shop, I seem to have miss placed it at the moment, which is a shame as it is one of my favourites. I cannot find one like it online, but a search for olney hats brings up panama style. I also have a breezy hat, good for ventilation. A jack...

I saw one the other day on youtube, variation of magnifying glass. Using a clear plastic sandwich / freezer / zip lock bag, filled with water, seal and twist the top a lot. Twisting the top forms the bag into a more spherical shape then the water inside can be used to focus sunlight the same way...

Yes the old fashioned way you pull the loose ends to undo. But to secure that to double the knot as it were I was originally taught to pass the loops again under and over each other, leading to a potentially difficult knot to undo. However the new way starting with two loops you still just pull...

I recently learned, what I first considered a 'cheat' way of tying my laces, from the description very similar to duggie bravo method. If you make two separate loops and go one under over but do it twice then it makes a very secure knot - even more secure that a 'standard' double knot I learnt...
