    Lol! Talking about Mora (blessed be it's name) I just got mine in today! Very sharp...I'll have to take care with it :) I like the feel it - it's nicely balanced and looks alright.

    More versatility perhaps? not quite sure but I could imagine it being good for many functions including coppicing and splitting logs.

    What would the legality of using one of these? Are they completely legal in the forest? what if you transport it through a public area (like taking the train)? Could someone clear this up for me as I don't want to be arrested :D Edit: I live in Scotland!

    Thanks guys, I'll most likely buy a mora blade - it's a wallet friendly price :D I'm not sure what to get in place of a hatchet...I prefer a larger blade. Any recommendations?

    First post here so hello - from Scotland myself :) Never been out camping or using bushcraft skills but I avidly watch ray mears and love the skills he uses. I was reading a thread about burdock leaves to wrap meat. Some people said it contained poisonous oxalic acid and shouldn't be used...
