I'm not long back from holiday and thought you lot might like to have a go at identifying these... I followed the prints to here... A close up of the damage done... I won't say anything about where these photos were taken just yet, we'll see how you get on. Scale wise, the full set of...

    Wicker Canoe?

I've been trying to find information on making a canoe with a totally wicker frame, but I have been unable to find anything. There is plenty of information on coracles with wicker frames and birch bark canoes with cedar frames on the interweb, but nothing on wicker. I was thinking it would be...

    Artemiss inspired Scrimshaw.

After seeing Artemiss, a scrimshaw artist over on BB, at the UK Knife Show I was inspired to have a go. Her work is so fine and detailed it will take a lot of practice to get anywhere near such skill! For my first go I started at a manageable size, the piece of plastic it's on is 10cm...

    My first Knife...

I think I'll call it "The Snake!" It was made for my brothers 50th Birthday present. 3mm O1 tool steel, Padauk scales, copper liners and pins, filework with green epoxy infill. A little rough in places, but it has been a real learning experience, comments and criticisms welcome...

Wanted: Sevylor Voyager/or similar inflatable canoe.

Hi, my attempt to buy the Sevylor voyager inflatable canoe on here earlier this week fell through and I was wondering if any of you fine people had one knocking about that you would like to sell. The other one was on for £50 and that is around about what I was looking for. Although I could...

Wrong season, but I made these!

I suppose they could be used as sunglasses. These snow goggles are whittled from birch with yew toggles and nettle cordage. The cat liked them so much it did a moonwalk :lmao: Cheers Nigel

Some spoons I made for Yule presents.

A bit late I know but here are a few Yew spoons I made for presents this year, to go with some lovely crabapple and chilli jelly. Comments welcome, I hope you like them. The pale one with a twist shows the wood before it was oiled with Tung oil. Thanks for looking.

She's had a better offer apparently, but her loss could be someone else's gain! PM me if you're interested, cash at the moot or maybe a...
