    Best Hammock for the Money

Hello Joe, I recommend the DD Frontline hammock....it has been superb for me. I would recommend you look also at buying some webbing tape and karabiners. The links below take you to the DD Hammock website and a You Tube review of the hammock. http://www.ddhammocks.com/products...

    Would you...?

Never thought I would ever think it let alone say it but yes I would leave the UK and I live in a beautiful part of it. We don't live in a democracy that is just an illusion and we aren't free. I have woken up to the world that we live in.......illegal wars, the powers that be screwing us every...

I am with my dad now as I write this and he is living on borrowed time....lungs are virtually useless and every day that he is around is a...

    Badgers and Bivvis

I am pretty much the same as Shewie and JonathanD....one of the woods I use has a set and my bivvy / hammock area is about 40 metres from a lovely badger sett. I have spent many a lovely evening / night watching the comings and goings of these lovely animals. They associate my scent with food as...

    newly laid hedge

Hedgelaying is a wonderful craft and whilst the principles are straightforward, the actual laying of a hedge can be very challenging depending on the material in front of you. I learn't as a BTCV volunteer when I was younger and still lay the odd metre or two now and again. One thing you can...

    Frontline or Camping DD Hammock??

I agree totally with Pablo...the DD Frontline is a fabulous hammock. I ordered the Travel hammock but fortunately it was out of stock at the time and I was offered the Frontline as an alternative at the same price.

    Billhooks anyone?

lol thanks. I will have a scout around. I was just wondering as I have used one for hedging, coppicing etc and haven't seen much evidence of there use in bushcraft. I took a hook to a weekend survival course in the New Forest last May and whilst my using it raised a few eyebrows a number of...
