Not quite bushcraft but somewhat adjacent. I work airside and have to bring food in through airport security like getting on a plane, I also have a long commute by public transport. I am looking for some alternatives to change up my lunch options as noodles and tofu are getting a bit boring.

This is the first version of the Ute rucksack made by Hill People Gear in the US. Here is a link to the current model: https://hillpeoplegear.com/Products/CategoryID/3/ProductID/10
It is a very well made, very high quality rucksack with an extremely...
I have here a very nice example of the Arwy Sting rucksack copied from Lowe Alpine for the Dutch army. I bought it as a Grade 1 very recently and have not had a chance to take it out of the house since. I include the two pictured MTP PLCE side pouches and one Dutch one in DPM. It's in lovely...

I took advantage of the weather a short while ago and spent my first night in a hammock. I had a lovely evening and slept really well, waking up to birdsong at dawn. It was a much needed break from the 9 to 5

I like to get up early at weekends and yesterday was no different. There is a nature reserve near me that is being gradually transformed from a pine plantation to an inland bog through conservation grazing. The wildlife trust use different animals to eat different vegetation in order to allow a...
I finally got around to carrying out a modification to my Victorinox German army knife and wanted to share it with you. I love this knife and always take it with me to the woods but it has niggles at me that the awl would be a lot more useful with a hole in it, that way it can be used to sew...
