    I have a high opinion of the OS, interesting history and still best maps in the world. And artistic too. What I dont like is those stupid ones with the map on both sides. How do you manage them? They only fold one way. And you seldom have them fully unfolded.

    An Omission...Both Nessmuk and Kephart

    I am a big fan of both of them, as you know. But re-reading I spot an omission, to my eyes. They talk a bit about survival, (though are mostly Bushcraft) but assume that you are in possession of (dry) matches. No alternative fire lighting, as more modern authors talk about.
