I am really looking forward to grinding this one, the 'severe' grinds and tapers that starting with an upwards of 6mm stock produce alongside the pattern of the Damasteel should look stunning, I can't wait for it to evolve....

And here tang tapered, the 6.5mm stock is reduced to 1.5mm at the butt....

Well I dunno mate, it'd be nice to think so, my point being there are not too many places you can part with upwards of £350 for a knife and know that (within reason of course) your cash is waiting for you should you want to sell... Are the material costs of that knife worth anything close to...

I think you answered your own question there, I think it is worth it because it will hold it's value... Will the 2 or 3 others you get made or the 10 you make yourself hold their value, I dunno...

No need for a trade mate, a good clean up of the PFK is all part of the service, send it when suits and I'll keep it a couple of days at most :)

Oh, I see.... At present I am working what you might call a lot in Giraffe bone, I have a small contract that calls for an amount every month so it's always in the workshop, the bone for that contract was sourced directly from Africa, stabilised there and shipped here, it is great gear and...
