    What Droppings?

Same solution I guess? Wouldn’t that be a win in terms of your biodiversity goals though? I know they can be destructive but at least they’re native?

    What Droppings?

Last time I was out that way the butchers I visit said the game keeper was bringing muntjac almost daily! I took an entire carcass off his hands as he had that many hanging. Maybe the keeper has done his job well.

    What Droppings?

I think you could be getting paranoid, iirc the muntjac leaves smaller clusters and the droppings are just a tad smaller than those. But, if it is muntjac… :ar15:

Ulvgart's Crafting Corner (DIY, Slöjd, and Traditional Crafts)

How funny I came across your videos the other week. Your puukko knives are fantastic! I was very intrigued though about those little pendants you were casting. I’d like to know more about them if possible??

    Oak dice

It’s a board game you can play in one of the assassins creed games, they call it “orlog”. :-)

    Oak dice

Awesome. I did something similar myself a few weeks ago but I used beech for my dice. :-)

    Boring Freelander 2 stuff

Well I guess that’s a win then. Always nice when a garage tells you there’s nothing wrong with a Land Rover! Mine went through its MOT fine too, with just a couple of advisories that will be sorted out fairly soonish. I am getting more and more impressed by these vehicles, but I am now...

    Compact emergency food supply.

I definitely think a vacuum sealer is the way forward. Theres so much you can do with one and they’re very inexpensive.

    Emergency signalling

You’ll find they’re all encrypted. So if you move onto their frequency and try and contact it won’t work without the correct equipment. As someone else has already stated you’ll get into a lot of trouble if you manage to contact them on a closed channel. The main point is; If a team is using...

    Emergency signalling

There are no “mountain rescue freqs”. All UK teams are on digital, closed comms channels.

Anyone tried a roof top tent? Thinking of getting one myself!

Yes, the wife and I had one for many years. In fact it was before the craze took off here and a lot of campsites were very confused when we tried to book. Took it all over Europe and into North Africa but got rid of it when our eldest came along. Pros: VERY comfortable sleep, older canvas...

    Ancestry DNA

I have been working quite heavily on my family tree in the last few weeks. Off to Shropshire on Thursday to try and find the graves of my ancestors who moved from the east coast in 1690. Wish me luck! Back onto the dna side of things, could people explain to me which company they’ve used? And...

    Woodland Custodianship

That must be really conflicting considering your “hands off” reintroduction plan. Are you reconsidering this or are there other possible options for you? Or, are you just accepting that if it doesn’t work then something else will come along?
