    I made a selection of maces from sports balls (and a larger one moulded in a big plant pot) postcrete and sledgehammer handles. I turned a wooden Persian Meel on my Dad's lathe. I bought a couple of steel clubs. Sandbags are great. Mine are old army kit bags of different sizes.

    Splitting big rounds with a suitable axe or maul is vastly quicker than using a saw. It would take hours/days to do a reasonable amount with a saw
