    Telescopic fishing rod recommendations

My son uses a NGT Onamazu, 12" when collapsed, comes with reel too. Tried it myself, albeit with less success than him, and it does the job. Not as supple as my Exage but it was reduced to a fiver at Go Outdoors so absolute bargain. Springfields has em advertised at 22squid so still a good buy.

    Ladder ? weird I know

I had to look, didn't I! Now I'm gonna be thinking about your neighbours predicament all weekend while I'm away, hoping he hasn't risked life and limb by using the ladder without them and not knowing the outcome til Monday! Thanks alot!

    Best bushcraft trousers?

I think you hit the nail on the head there. Trousers are not that important. Bushcraft is just part of everyday life so whatever works for you day to day will work fine for bushcraft, no need for specialist uniform. Unless your day to day is swimwear in which case be careful!

Best option for a slicey, 3-4” full tang stainless blade with a flat grind?

Just a regular stropping keeps mine keen. I carry a Fallkniven DCsomethingorother single sided sharpener for when I mess up the edge completely but rarely have to use it. It's only a couple mm thick and weighs next to nothing so it lives permanently in my wallet. What are you using your knife...

Best option for a slicey, 3-4” full tang stainless blade with a flat grind?

Enzo/Brisa Necker 70 does everything camp related for me. I got the blade blank and left it that way, carried in a poly pipe sheath. They make slightly larger models too. Great price to performance ratio.

    Forest schools are a failure.

I didn't know such a thing existed. Sounds like something some of my kids' buddies could benefit from. Most seem to think the great outdoors is Alton Towers!
