It's a relatively light garlic flavour (compared to Ramson) so it works well with more subtle flavour main dishes.

IIRC i used pot per to age some a few years ago. strange but painting on the purple turns the antler brown!

Truth is any kind of filter is better than nothing.
pouring it through your fingers to remove leaves is better than not!
