That's the main problem with copper as an investment prospect. It's not value dense like gold and silver so it takes up so much damn space.

I didn't recognize that grade so had a look on the interwebz and couldn't find any mention of it. Do you mean a HB grade pencil? (that was always my general go to pencil in school)

    Tiny little hatchet or tomahawk….suggestions?

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with them.

It's up to you but in my opinion copper is likely to do very well over the next few years. Personally I'm holding onto my physical copper for at while. At least two or three years, probably more. I think the copper price rise will out-pace inflation for quite some time yet. We're at the start...

Silver bullion coins that are made by the Royal Mint (such as Britannia's) are CGT free and you only need to pay VAT on new silver. Second hand silver does not have VAT added. I agree. Can't go wrong with gold. It has a much larger market cap so doesn't suffer from the large volatility swings...

It's a good video that. Simply going through the exact figures from the metal exchanges spreadsheets and explaining what it means without adding any of the usual hyperbole you usually get from Youtube commentators (or from me for that matter ;) ). Ok lets make this a fair 50/50 chance bet...

LOL! But no way. :nailbiting: However if you'd like to have a little bet to make things more interesting I'll put up my Helle Utvar as my stake. What bushcrafty item would you (or anyone else) be willing to stake in a bet against me that this almighty price jump I predict will happen by the end...

I'm going to make a big financial prediction now. The biggest of my life. Within the the next two months (probably less) silver is going to go crazy. I mean REALLY crazy! If you think the rise in silver during the second half of 2025 was big then you have no idea what's coming next. When the...

    Winter is coming.

It sure has been a wet an muddy 2026 so far. I slipped gluteus over mammory yesterday and got covered from head to toe in mud. Hope no one in the over-looking houses was watching. :D

Mora's are great. The best thing about them is that you can just use them for any job without worrying because they're so cheap to replace.

    Buffalo 6

I've already ordered a green Buffalo Special 6 shirt (also size 38) from another forum member on here which I'm expecting to be delivered by Wednesday of next week. Provided that that one fits me alright and I like it I would then be interested in buying this second black Buffalo shirt from you...

I have other models of SAK's at home, in the office and in the car. Different models suit different environments in my experience. The ones I use at home and in the office both have scissors on them (which get used often) but the field and car knives do not. Horses for courses and all that...

    Show us your working knife

In the horses field I generally use a Swiss Soldier's Knife 08. I've tried several other knives over the years including Mora, Helle, Fallkniven and a regular sized Victorinox SAK but this is the one I've settled on for my everyday go to working knife/tool. It has the best compromise between...

Hello and welcome to the forum. :) Brilliant investment choice. I think a nice piece of secluded land out in the countryside somewhere is the best investment you could make. Both financially and spiritually.

I'm considering buying some oil stocks tonight. Then hoping they go down. It might prove to be a profitable short-term trade though.
