Tai Chi or other types of gentle exercise

I should have also mentioned earlier that I have and old tricep tendon injury from many years ago which took several years to heal. It has fully healed now I am fully able to move and do things again but when I do pushups or pull-ups it does irritate the old injoury it slightly and it feels...

    Open question - Financial

That's not to say that good financial advisors don't have their uses though. With things like mortgages, insurances, paper investment products like ISAs and other tax or law related issues they tend to be very knowledgeable. Especially regarding the products they sell on commission and any laws...

    Open question - Financial

I've spoken to several financial advisers in the past and this is what I have discovered: - None of them knew the difference between Austrian and Keynesian economics. - None of them knew what the difference is between real money and a fiat currency. - None of them knew that historically all...

Tai Chi or other types of gentle exercise

At the weekends I get plenty of exercise. Lots of walking, pushing heavy wheelbarrows uphills, moving heavy 75Ah leisure batteries around for electric fences, bashing in wooden fence posts, sawing branches off hedges, trimming foliage and nettles by hand using shears, raking up horse poo from...

    Open question - Financial

Personally I wouldn't take a risk buying silver from Ebay as there are too many scammers. The safety of a reputable established bullion dealer like Chards or Atkinsons is a better option. However buying from a trustworthy long-term forum member on here such as Dale is also another safe option.

At roughly spot price plus a bit extra to cover the postage that sounds like a good deal. :)

Short term trading isn't usually my kind of thing either. I prefer being a long term investor as it is generally less risky and more likely to make a safe and steady profit. However sometimes such an obvious and easy short term trade opportunity presents itself with high upside profit potential...

Oil has been doing well so far this month. With things kicking off in the Middle East last night I expect both oil and precious metals will continue going up further next week when the markets open on Monday. Unfortunately. :( https://in.tradingview.com/symbols/OIL_BRENT/?timeframe=12M For...

    Charity

Oxfam is another one I avoid. I forget why now. But there must have a good reason when I made that decision. :D

    Charity

Usually I don’t tell anyone what charitable work I do figuring you’re probably doing it for the wrong reasons if you feel the desire to boast about it. However as you asked a specific question I’ve answered it. Sometimes I also do other charitable work whenever I see an appropriate opportunity...

    4000?

It's all about the reaction score to messages ratio. :D I'm on about 72% reactions to messages. Can anyone else's beat that?

    4000?

Not a real bushcrafter? I've never attempted bushcraft in my life yet I'm already north of 500 posts in just a few months. It's a funny old world eh? Still, it's a pleasure conversing with you (and everyone else). Strangely I seem to have more in common with you guys than I do with 'normal'...

I'll try to bare that in mind the next time I cross paths with a T-Rex.

    Hi from the US

Hello and welcome to the forum. :) Is bushcrafting in the US much different from over here?
