May be a daft suggestion but id be tempted to get it, or a new unissued one tailored to put a full length HD YKK zip on the top right down the middle or side with a goretex flap and velcro to encase the zip and sort the draw string issue at the same time ?

Cheers i may well do something similar, at least it will be tailored to my needs. Im nowhere near being able to go out with a 30ltr pack and at 63 doubt i ever will.

Agreed, sharpied the change to bring it to uk edc but reticent to start as i don't want to heat it too much with the grinder. Also want to try it out this weekend to see if its worth the agg of grinding 1mm a day

Gerber Mansfield slipjoint scandi grind. Bought one on recommendation. I'm no knife expert by a country mile but this is by far a fantastic unbelievable quality D2 knife for sub £20, dont say i didn't tell you

Never owned a mora, thought it was about time. Must say still unsed apart from the obligatory hair shaving but very good in the hand. Gerber absolutely glorious especially for the money, much sharper than the mora, shame its a bit to big for uk edc but may adapt so it is, im that impressed
