    Bag ID

I have this bag not sure where I got it from. Slightly puzzled by its purpose. Seems like a ruck sack but shoulder straps are very narrow and even fully adjusted out very short. So unless your a very small skinny guy your not getting far with it. Am I missing something? Very good Nick mind

A good night last night up on a mountain. The first night out of my 4 or 5 trips where I woke up this morning and thought dam that was good. I really enjoyed it. It was down to comfort and the 13 quid blow up mat off eBay. Really surprised me and was still up this morning which amazed me to be...

Thinking of getting one. Main purpose stick in ruck sack and wear about camp when it’s chilly or early mornings. They worth the space ? Sound nice and toasty though not water proof

So after my last trip and bit of an uncomfortable night I thought I needed a mat with a bit of air in it. An ad came up on Facebook funny enough with some super duper mat. Video of a truck driving over it.Some bloke laying on it on rocks. I thought great and jumped gun and ordered one. Turned...

I am new to this and I like the views being more out side and bit more niche if that’s the word. Once your sealed up in a tent you might as well be in the back yard

Thank you Falstaff that’s a good idea about the tent poles. People often throw them in fact sure I have some under the stairs. Yes I took couple hazel with me as I knew it was all gorse up there. The mat I have is a self inflating thermarest apparently a good make. But it’s not very thick. Like...

    Sleep mat

Braved the army bivy last night and enjoyed no bugs to be seen of any sort. The ground was bumpier underneath that I thought. So the thermarest didn’t cut it need bit more thickness. So I guess if I get some thing bivy will have to go on top. That said I reckon my foam mat would have saved the...
