Is posting edged tools in UK still problems? Last time I recall reading the form posts that the seller of the tools lost the tools and money because of the RM scanning the parcel, and confiscating the tools. Is this still in practice?
Is it only RM practicing this parcel scanning? Or all...
Yes, this was the point of concern before installing the cams. So, we were trying to clarify on the legal points where it stands. It seems to be within the legality to run the cams in the gardens and on the front door detecting the motions and recording the images automatically into the cloud...
My doorbell cam and WiFi cam in the garden mounted on the shed, have been running for almost a week now. They seem to be working fine giving really sharp images, and working as expected on the movement detection and recording the movements etc.
Only thing I am not sure is the battery power...
If a delivery man came to the door to deliver goods and rang the door bell triggering the door bell cam to record the motion detection, and saved the image of the detection in the cloud storage, then could he complain that his privacy was breached by the door bell cam recording? What would be...
Yeah, the WiFi security home cameras seem to be very popular these days.
Just ordered a door bell camera with talking facility.
And also an ieGeek WiFi home security camera for outdoors with rechargeable battery.
The ieGeek will be installed on the top of the wooden shed to face the path from...
Yes, this is a very valid point. WiFi cams seem to be installed within the home WiFi router which have access to all the computers and Mobile phone and Pads connected in the network. How do we insure the security breach doesn't happen from these devices?
And the other point to think about is...
There seem to be many types and price ranges of Home Security WiFi Cameras for sale on Amazon, and they seem to be selling a lot recently.
Anyone using them installed around the house outdoor area on the walls or gardens and garden sheds?
Which ones do you find best or worst?
Any tips or ideas...
I would prefer cars like the old LADA, simple, rugged and easy to maintain. Now they all seem to have disappeared. These LADA cars would be now difficult to get hold of, and price would not be cheap either. How about finding the parts?
My Hyundai Kona seems to have lots of the digital...
This video reminded me of the good old 1990s. A few of the neighbors on the street where we lived had LADA cars parked along the road at the time. Now I haven't seen any LADA cars for maybe 25+ years.
Found another rusty saw blade from the garden shed tool box this morning.
Cut it into half, grinded on the electric grinder for 5 minutes, and sharpened on the DC4.
Mounted on the £29 multi tool (Made in China), and it also works great for wood carving.
Used garden saw blades seem well heat treated and tempered from the factory. Just cut them with the angle grinder, sharpen and put some handles on them.
They keep carving sharp edges well and work well. Cost? £0.00
In the past I have been under the impression that stainless steel or alloy steel would be stronger and tougher than carbon steel, but was surprised to witness that is not the case.
In the book, Stainless steel should be less prone to rust, but it doesn't seem to be the case either.
It was strange to see the spade had little rust inside the cavity where it joins the handle, and it broke off.
I have another old spade probably military issued one from 1940s. It is 50 times more rusty all over the blade, also around the whole metal part, and it still is robust and solid...
