I have the Victorinox Forester. At the moment it is my primary knife as i don't own a fixed blade knife. The 'Forester' has a very sturdy blade considering it is a folding blade. I also find the saw quite handy.

I was thinking of it but I wasn't sure whether the noise of the camera will scare the deer, even with a digital camera. You know with the lens extending or the film winding on.
Me and a freind are thinking of going out to try and spot some deer in our local woods as we have seen them when driving past. I am unsure what type of deer they are as I only caught a quick glance.
What are their habits, do they come out in the open? Is the best time to see them dawn or dusk...

I was in Pontypridd/Hopkinstown last week with some close relatives.
I'm not sure about the fabric version of these boots but the leather version is very good and has served me well over Ten Tors training and Dartmoor. I haven't had any problems since I bought them in January. I would definitely recommend these boots.
Pibbleb: Okehampton army camp is still there. Ten Tors is held there every year as the start/finish of the event.
Wistmans wood sounds interesting, I will have to visit sometime.
There is a coniferous forest near Bellever tor which is just by Postbridge around 5km from Two Bridges.
