if u want to dye it black a good cheap dye can be made by dissolving iron in vinegar, it dosnt run or any thing, as its a chemical reaction with the leather. takes a while to get rid of the vinegar smell. also it dosnt get every think else black like ur fingers so is really easy to apply...

wot about oven roasting bags? also JML do a bag sealer which melts the plastic together, but prob wont work on the over roasting bags as they're heat resistant! but other than that no idea, all the other links sound good, will get some, coz i think that most BIBs are rubbish. any body got...

just finished wet forming a sheath for my new knife and ahv a problem. to hold the sheath in position while it dried i used some bulldog clips (think thats what their called) and they have stained the leather black, is there any thing i can do to get it out? tried scrubbing with water and soap...
